For years, Mariama carried the weight of survival on her shoulders. With five children to care for and a husband too old to provide, each day began with uncertainty. Food was never guaranteed.

One of Mariama’s greatest pains was watching her daughter drop out of school simply because they could not afford basic supplies.

Everything began to change when an Unto church partner reached out to Mariama with your gift of meals, clothing and school supplies. For the first time in a long while, there was relief.

Mariama’s joy was visible as she spoke about her children, “I am happy. My children can eat, and my daughter is back in school.”
