🚜 Our very own Rotary Treasurer, Jeff Wolfe, is in the spotlight!

Jeff is a service technician at Myers Motorsports in Kane, and LS Tractor USA just featured him in an owner story. After spending his days preparing and servicing LS tractors, he bought an LS MT125 for the four-acre camp he shares with his wife. He's already put it to work on projects like horseshoe pits, ditch clearing, and moving fallen trees.

Congratulations, Jeff! Read the full story here: https://lstractorusa.com/blogs/ls-mt125-tractor-owner-story/

Historic Route 6 Roadside Rest — Dedication Ceremony!

Rotary is proud to announce the dedication of the historic Route 6 roadside rest area! Originally installed by PennDOT, this well-loved rest stop has gotten a fresh new look thanks to the hard work of our club and community partners.

Improvements include:
🔨 Refurbished pavilion
🎨 Freshly painted picnic tables
🪨 New stone parking area
🪧 New signage..and more!

A huge thank you to Rotary Treasurer Jeff Wolfe, who was instrumental in planning and seeing this project through from start to finish.

We celebrated with a dedication ceremony attended by Rotary President Jim Trussell, Treasurer Jeff Wolfe, County Commissioners Tom Kreiner and Carol Duffy, Rotarian Larry Doyon, and Katy Johnson, representing State Rep. Marty Causer. The club was happy to serve up hamburgers and hot dogs to celebrate with everyone who came out! 🍔🌭

Thank you to everyone who made this project possible — this historic rest area will serve travelers and our community for years to come!

At a previous meeting, our club was pleased to host District Governor John A. Marshall for a special visit this week. President James Trussell welcomed the District Governor and his fiancé, opening the floor to a thoughtful discussion on our club's ongoing community initiatives. Area Governor Benjamin Kirsch then offered a formal introduction, after which DG Marshall shared his perspective on the future of Rotary, centered on three guiding principles: creating a lasting impact, inspiring new membership, and elevating the value of service. We are grateful for his leadership and the insight he brought to our meeting.

“Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost, a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11.” ~ Former President Barack Obama
