The Shenandoah County Community Center is pleased to partner with Response, Inc to host the Nurturing Parenting Program this Fall! This free program is designed for parents and guardians of children ages 0–19 and focuses on building positive parenting skills, strengthening family relationships, and supporting healthy child development.

📅 Every Thursday | September 17 – November 19
🕠 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
📍 Shenandoah County Community Center

Topics include:
✨ Positive brain development
✨ Communicating with respect
✨ Building self-worth in children
✨ Healthy ways to manage stress and anger

🍽️ Dinner will be provided, and childcare will be available on-site at SCCC through Wild Child: Museum & Menagerie , making it easier for families to participate.

Are you looking for an afterschool program? Animal Kingdom Afternoon sessions are in full-swing and run Monday-Friday from 3:00pm-4:30pm and 4:30pm-6:00pm. You can sign up for one or both sessions. 🥫 The Open Door Food Pantry is happening TODAY at the Shenandoah County Community Center, with food distribution beginning at 12:00 PM and continuing until 6:00 PM.

📍 Important Parking & Entrance Reminder:
To help ensure food distribution can take place smoothly in the back parking lot, we kindly ask our Fitness Center guests, Wild Child Tribe families, and Business Center guests to park in the front of the building and enter through Door 1.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep the distribution process organized and accessible for everyone. We appreciate your understanding and we look forward to serving our community today! 💙
