In early 2019, The K**b was incorporated into the George Washington National Forest. Because of community-wide support, The K**b is now protected for future generations.

When we started this campaign, we had $50,000 to raise in order to Save the K**b. We're so excited to announce today that thanks to the generosity of the Town of Mount Jackson, a handful of donors who have made major contributions, and all of you who have helped with so many smaller donations, we've raised more than $31,000! This means we're almost there, and Saving the K**b is within our reach. Please help spread the word as we sprint to the finish line.
