ADOPT A LAMP!

Search Thrift Shop has many lovely lamps that are very, very lonely -- they’ve been in the Store for a long time -- and are looking for new homes. Each day this week, we are going to highlight one of our lamps. Can you open your home to a new lamp?

Today’s SEARCH Light falls on Anna Caroline. Anna Carolina is smart-looking creamy lamp with an attractive blue and burgundy design and a nice white shade. She is a lovely lamp looking for a warm and cozy place to cast her light.

As a result of the support of a generous donor, all lamps this week -- including Anna Caroline -- are 50% off.

Thank You Book Donors & Buyers!

The inaugural LEAP Book Drive and Sale brought together the four Rotary clubs across Shenandoah County to raise funds, expand access to books, and elevate literacy awareness. The 15 Rotarians involved contributed over 400 volunteer hours to collect, sort, and work the book sale.

Hundreds attended, browsing tables stacked high with donated books. By the end of the event, LEAP had raised over $4,000 and—most remarkably—distributed 20,000 books to readers of all ages. Many of these books went directly into the hands of children and teachers working to strengthen their classroom libraries.

The event was made possible by Rotarians from the Strasburg, New Market, Mt. Jackson-Edinburg Rotary Club, and The Rotary Club of Woodstock VA, all united by a shared mission: advancing youth literacy in Shenandoah County.
