Remaining kids' classes for summer's youth program:

Wednesday, July 1, 10 a.m.-noon, the fascinating art of BOOK FOLDING with Marlene Gremillion. Ages 10 and up.

Tuesday, July 7, 10 a.m -noon, making cool POLYMER CLAY MOBILES with Marlene Gremillion. Ages 5-10.

Wednesday, July 8, 1-3 p.m., select interesting ROCKS WITH FACES and painting what you see, under the guidance of Laura Alexander. Ages 5-10.

Wednesday, July 15, 10-11:30 a.m., let your imagination loose with FANCY DOODLING with June Lamoureux.

Still some room left in this week's classes. Wednesday the 10 and up age group will make art using paper straws, and Thursday the 5-10 year olds will make rainbow twirlers. Both classes are creative and fun. Call (870-867-3115) or come by to register your kids!

Come to the CROCHET PARTY tomorrow (Monday, June 15) for this month's Evening at the Gallery! From 5-6:30 we will work on projects for all skill levels, from those who have never held a crochet hook to those with years of experience. All materials are provided and light refreshments served. Free to members, $10 for non-members.

Monday, June 15, our Evening at the Gallery will be a CROCHET PARTY! From 5-6:30 we will work on small projects for all skill levels. If you already know how to crochet and follow a pattern, there will be some for you to choose from. If you have never held a crochet hook and never tried this wonderfully forgiving skill, come let us show you how easy it is! Free to members and first-timers, $10 for non-members, all supplies provided. Please let us know if you plan to come so we will be sure to have plenty of materials.

Good morning! This week will be a busy one at the gallery, with the kids' classes under way. Here are a few pictures from last Friday's creations in yarn, and a sample of the stuffed animals this Thursday's class will make. Here's the schedule for the week:

BOARD MEETING Thursday, June 11, 3 p.m.

STUFFIES, a class in sewing for ages 10 and up led by Phyllis Stapp Thursday, June 11, 10-11:30.

GRAFFITI with water pistols led by Lindy Hall. Friday, June 12. Ages 5-10 from 10-11:30, ages 10 and up from 1:30-3:00.

The full summer schedule was posted earlier and is available at the gallery. All classes are $5 with registration and prepayment required, so be sure to get your kids signed up. We strongly suggest old clothes or overshirts for the art classes!
