Thank you to all the fantastic volunteers that came through in a big way today. We had 21 pallets of food (approximately 17,000 ) that all got brought into the building, unloaded into the correct rooms, with every refrigerator and freezer filled to the max. Loved having all the new volunteers and always love having our “seasoned” volunteers. Thank you all!

Fresh produce: we have yellow squash, tomatoes, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, strawberries, Zucchini, Apples, apple slices, salad kits, sweet potatoes, pears, yellow potatoes, plus fish nuggets, real butter, eggs, milk (white and chocolate). If you need food come see us Monday June 8, Wednesday June 10th and Saturday, June 13th. Open 9am to noon each of those dates. Need lots of volunteers those days to get food distributed to our neighbors!

If you have plastic shopping bags (like from Bob’s, Dollar General, and Walmart) we would LOVE to have them at the food pantry. We are almost out and expect to have a very busy week next week. If you want to drop them off, just bring them to County Annex at 117 Ray Dr. Leave them in the lobby to the right when you go in the door. Thank you, we would much rather spend pantry money on food than on plastic bags…

We need lots of muscle on Friday, June 5th starting at 9 am. We have 17,000 # of food being delivered that needs to be brought into the building and put into the correct rooms. This counts as community service for students. Counts as God’s service for everyone else! Please come join us.
