A huge Thank You to Yoder's Bar Rockville for donating proceeds from your 50/50 to Thursday's Child!

Yoder's holds an annual scenic memorial ride to honor those motorcycle enthusiasts they have lost. This year they chose Thursday's Child as the recipient of the 50/50 raffle before heading out on their approximately 130 mile ride. We are grateful for their generosity!!

The Third Annual Well-Built Humans Basketball Tournament Benefit held at Belmont High School on April 5 and 6 raised $1,745 for Thursday’s Child.

16 teams from all over the tri-state area participated, raising money and awareness for Thursday’s Child as well as having a good time with friends and family and enjoying some catching up with opponents. “A great day with good basketball, unexpected turns and great people,” in the words of one participant.

Organizers Brent Curtis and Matt Eastlick, Potosi High School coaches and co-owners of Well-Built Humans Potosi and Mitch Austin, Darlington High School Principal, created this popular fund raiser, bringing together families and friends to watch their favorite teams play, enjoy concessions staffed by volunteers, register for raffle prizes while keeping track of the standings from 6:00 p.m. on Friday through the 7:00 p.m. Saturday women’s and men’s championship games.

This year’s winners pictured below were Team “Warbirds” – Men’s Champions, and Team “Sophie’s Team” – Women’s Champions.
