We were proud to host our 2nd Annual PBA Local #37 Field Day & Backpack Giveaway this weekend, and we want to thank everyone who helped make it another great day for Mount Holly.

This event is something our members genuinely enjoy putting together. It gives us a chance to help local families prepare for the school year, spend some time with the kids, and connect with our community outside of our normal day-to-day work.

A big thank you to our fellow PBA members who volunteered their time, as well as all of the businesses, organizations, Township departments, and community partners who donated and supported the event. We could not do it without you.

Most importantly, thank you to all of the families who came out and spent the day with us. We hope everyone had a great time, and we are already looking forward to making year three even better.

NJ State PBA !

This year marks the 10th Annual Aleshire–Holmes–Wurst Memorial Poker Golf Outing!

Anyone who has attended in the past knows what a great day this outing has become; a beautiful course, a unique poker-golf format, great food, prizes, and an opportunity to spend the day with people who genuinely care about supporting our community.

The Donald Aleshire, William Wurst and John Holmes Youth Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation that has operated in good standing since the fund was established in 1975. This outing is one of our primary annual fundraisers and helps provide the resources we use to award scholarships, support local programs, and give back to the community in honor of our fallen brothers.

Like nearly every event, the cost of hosting a quality golf outing has increased considerably from year to year. We have made several adjustments to this year’s format and sponsorship structure so we can continue providing the experience our golfers and supporters have come to expect while ensuring the event remains a meaningful fundraiser for the foundation.

We still have a number of sponsorship opportunities available for local businesses and organizations. Packages begin with a $250 tee sign sponsorship and include several additional levels offering event signage, sponsor-board placement, social media recognition, dinner recognition, golf packages, and other promotional opportunities.

For a business owner, this is a chance to support a respected, long-standing local foundation while placing your business in front of golfers, public safety professionals, community leaders, and other area organizations. More importantly, every sponsorship directly supports our ability to continue giving back in the names of the officers this fund was created to honor.

A heartfelt thank you to Spellbound Community Giving Corp for their incredibly generous donation to the Burlington County PBA Local 37.

Thanks to their support, our Local was able to purchase two brand new E-Bikes for the Mount Holly Township Police Department - NJ Bicycle Unit from Mount Holly Bicycles

These new bikes will enhance our officers' ability to engage with the community, patrol parks and neighborhoods, and respond quickly in areas where traditional patrol vehicles may have limited access.

We're also excited to put them to work right away! Be sure to look for members of the Bike Unit leading riders out at the start of Saturday's annual Spellbound Century Bike Ride as hundreds of cyclists take to the roads for another great event.

This donation is a perfect example of what can be accomplished when local businesses, community organizations, and law enforcement work together for the benefit of our residents.

Thank you again to Spellbound Community Giving Corp for your continued commitment to giving back, and to Mount Holly Bicycles for helping us get these new E-Bikes on the road.

P.S. Before anyone asks... yes, the new E-Bikes will be properly registered and insured in compliance with New Jersey law. 😁

It's that time of year again... although we're not trying to rush summer!

Burlington County PBA Local 37 is proud to once again team up with the Mount Holly Township Police Department - NJ to host our Annual PBA Backpack Giveaway, a free community event dedicated to helping local students head back to school prepared for success.
Our goal is simple: provide FREE backpacks filled with school supplies to children in our community while bringing families together for a fun afternoon. In addition to the backpack giveaway, we'll have games, prizes, a live DJ, community resources, and much more!

This year, we're also asking our community to help us make an even bigger impact by donating new backpacks and school supplies leading up to the event. Donation boxes are available at:

We're also excited to partner with Gallagher's Taproom for a PBA Local 37 Dine & Donate fundraiser on Friday, August 7th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. During the event, a percentage of all proceeds will be donated to Burlington County PBA Local 37. A portion of those funds will be used to purchase any remaining backpacks and school supplies needed to ensure every child who attends leaves prepared for the new school year.

Whether you join us for dinner, make a donation, or attend the giveaway, your support helps make a real difference for local families.

We look forward to seeing everyone as we continue this tradition of giving back to the Mount Holly community. Together, we can help every student start the school year with confidence!
