🚨🐾 GIVING FRIDAY — $400 GOAL! PLEASE HELP US GET THESE FOUR FIXED! 🐾🚨

Lucy • Diablo • Bruiser • Sugar ❤️

These four Chihuahuas came into my care back in March, and for months I have been trying to raise the money to have them spayed and neutered.

Unfortunately, we still haven’t received the help needed to get it done.

It costs $100 per dog, so we need to raise $400 total to get all FOUR taken care of.

I know $400 may sound like a lot when you’re one person trying to cover it—but as a village, it really isn’t.

❤️ 40 people giving $10 = ALL FOUR DOGS FIXED.
❤️ 20 people giving $20 = ALL FOUR DOGS FIXED.
❤️ Even $5 gets us closer.

Tails of Hope Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, INC is a home-based rescue caring for between 70 and 80 animals every single day. We spend $80 or more A DAY just feeding them, before puppy pads, cleaning supplies, medications, vaccinations, preventatives and emergency vet bills are even considered.

My husband and I continue putting our own money into this rescue, but there simply isn’t enough to cover everything. When an emergency comes up, it has to take priority—and unfortunately, these four keep getting pushed back.

I don’t want them pushed back anymore.

Spaying and neutering is a HUGE part of rescue. We cannot save animals from overcrowded shelters and unwanted litters while allowing the cycle to continue. Getting these four fixed means four more animals for whom that cycle ENDS. 🐾

🙏 TODAY, FOR GIVING FRIDAY, I’M ASKING FOR 40 PEOPLE TO GIVE JUST $10.

That’s it.

If 40 people come together, Lucy, Diablo, Bruiser and Sugar can ALL finally be spayed/neutered.

And while our $400 goal is specifically for their surgeries, we desperately need help keeping their bowls full too. With 70–80 animals depending on us, food is an everyday expense that never stops.

If you can give $5, give $5.
If you can give $10, give $10.
If you can help with food, we are incredibly grateful.
And if you can’t donate, PLEASE SHARE. ❤️

🐾❤️ IT’S GIVING FRIDAY AGAIN! ❤️🐾

Rescue doesn’t stop once an animal is safe. Getting them through our doors is only the beginning.

Tails of Hope Animal Rescue and Adoption Center, INC is a home-based animal rescue housing & caring for between 70 and 80 animals every single day. These animals aren’t housed in some big, funded facility—they are right here on our property and in our home, where we personally care for them every day.

And I want people to understand what that really means.

My husband and I fund the majority of this rescue ourselves. Right now, my husband is working seven days a week out in this brutal heat, helping us keep our household going while we continue providing for all of these animals. We don’t have grants paying our daily expenses, and right now very few donations are coming in. The only outside help we have is the generosity of the public.

It costs approximately $80 EVERY SINGLE DAY just to feed the dogs in our care. That’s around $560 a week for food alone—before veterinary care, vaccinations, medications, preventatives, spay/neuter, cleaning supplies, emergencies, and everything else that comes with caring for this many animals.

Every week, I’m taking dogs to the vet to get them caught up on vaccinations, have checkups, and address medical problems. This week, one of our dogs had to be seen for a bad rash, and that vet visit alone was over $240.

Now I also need to get Kiara to the vet to have one of her eyes examined and make sure she’s okay. I’m hoping to get her seen today or tomorrow.

And after Kiara, there will be another animal who needs something.

That is rescue.

With 70–80 animals depending on us, there really isn’t an “easy week.” Food runs out. Vaccines come due. Someone gets sick. Someone needs medication. An unexpected vet visit happens. And whether we receive donations that day or not, these animals still have to eat. They still need medical care. They still depend on us.

❤️ So this Giving Friday, we truly need your help.

You don’t have to give a large amount to make a difference. If several people give $5, $10, or $20, together it can buy food, pay toward a vet bill, purchase medication, or help us get another animal the care they need.

And if you truly cannot donate, PLEASE SHARE. Sharing costs nothing, but it could put this post in front of the person who is able to help.

These animals have already been given their second chance. We just need some help carrying the financial weight of giving them that second chance.

❤️ $5 FRIDAY — WE NEED OUR VILLAGE ❤️

Yesterday morning, I loaded up two of our rescue dogs and took them to the vet. And while getting two taken care of feels like progress, the reality is that I still have around 40 more dogs who need their turn.

My plan is simple: at least two dogs every single week until we get through them.

Two at a time. Week after week. Whatever it takes.

But I cannot do it without help.

Every one of these dogs deserves proper veterinary care. They deserve vaccines, testing, preventatives, medications when needed, and the chance to be healthy enough to someday walk out of this rescue and into a family of their own.

And while we’re working through those vet appointments, the everyday expenses don’t stop. They still have to eat. Kennels still have to be cleaned. Laundry still has to be washed. Supplies still have to be bought.

With this many animals depending on us, even the smallest donation matters.

Today is $5 Friday, and I’m asking from my heart: if you can spare just $5, please consider giving it to these animals.

Five dollars may not feel like much by itself. But if enough people stand behind us, those $5 donations become dog food, vaccines, vet visits, medicine, cleaning supplies and another week of keeping these animals safe.

If you’re unable to donate, please share this post. Sharing costs nothing, and it can put this plea in front of the one person who is able to help.

I made a promise to these animals that I would keep fighting for them. I’m going to keep that promise — two dogs at a time, one vet visit at a time, one bag of food at a time.

I just need a little help carrying the load. ❤️🐾

Please be their voice. Please be part of their village. 🐾❤️

🚨 WE REALLY NEED HELP RIGHT NOW 🚨

I know I’ve been posting a lot lately asking for help with dog food and supplies, and I wish I didn’t have to keep asking. But the truth is, donations have been extremely, extremely low.

Over the last 3–4 weeks, we’ve received a few bags of dog food and less than $200 in monetary donations.

I am incredibly grateful for every single person who has helped. Please know that. ❤️ Every bag of food, every dollar, and every share matters.

But with over 70 animals depending on me every single day, what has come in simply isn’t enough to keep up with what is going out.

🐾 It costs approximately $80 EVERY SINGLE DAY just to feed the animals in my care.

That’s around $560 a week just for food.

And that does NOT include everything else it takes to run this rescue and keep these animals healthy and safe—veterinary visits, vaccines, dewormers, medications, flea and heartworm prevention, puppy pads, cleaning supplies, disinfectants, laundry, and all of the other necessities needed to keep more than 70 animals in a clean, safe environment.

I have put everything I possibly can into keeping these animals fed, safe, healthy, and cared for. I’ve used my own money. I’ve stretched every dollar. I’ve even started selling some of my own things so I can put that money toward dog food, supplies, and veterinary bills.

But I’m reaching a point where I simply don’t have anything left to pull from.

I also have a $3,500 dental visit coming up, and right now I just do not have personal money to spare. I still have to make sure these animals eat. They didn’t ask to end up here, and they depend on me completely.

So I’m asking our community: PLEASE, if you can help us help them 🙏

It does NOT have to be a large donation.

$5 helps. $10 helps. $20 helps. A bag of dog food helps. A case of canned food helps. Puppy pads help. EVERY SINGLE THING HELPS.

Think about this:

❤️ 16 people donating just $5 would cover approximately ONE DAY of food for more than 70 animals.

That is the power of small donations when people come together.

I give these animals everything I have—my time, my energy, my heart, and everything financially that I can possibly give.

But I cannot do this alone.

More than 70 lives depend on this rescue every day. They depend on me to make sure their bowls are full, their spaces are clean, their medical needs are met, and that they are safe and loved.

Today, I’m asking you to help me carry that responsibility. ❤️🐾

Please help us keep their bowls full and keep this rescue going.

🐾 Happy $5 Friday, everyone! 🐾❤️

Today I’m asking for one simple act of kindness.

If you’re able to donate just $5, it truly makes a difference. It may not seem like much, but when a lot of caring people each give a little, those small gifts become something incredibly powerful.

As many of you know, Tails of Hope Animal Rescue & Adoption Center, INC. is currently caring for over 70 rescued animals. Every single day starts before sunrise and ends long after dark. Feeding, cleaning kennels, giving medications, walking dogs, doing laundry, bathing them, transporting them to vet appointments, and making sure every animal feels safe and loved is my everyday life.

Right now, it costs approximately $80 every single day just to feed everyone between dry food and canned food. That’s before medications, vaccines, flea and tick prevention, dewormers, cleaning supplies, puppy pads, or unexpected veterinary emergencies.

I give everything I have to these animals because they deserve a chance at a better life. But I can’t do it alone.

If you’re able to support us today, here are a few easy ways:

💙 Monetary Donations

🛒 Prefer to donate supplies instead?
You can place an online pickup order, and I’ll gladly pick it up!

Dog food, canned food, puppy pads, cleaning supplies, treats, and other rescue essentials are always needed and deeply appreciated.

If you’re unable to donate today, sharing this post is also a huge way to help. You never know who on your friends list may be looking for a cause to support or may be able to help feed a rescue dog today.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has supported us, shared our posts, donated, adopted, volunteered, or simply believed in our mission. Because of you, over 70 animals have a safe place to sleep tonight, full bellies, and hope for a brighter future.

Every $5 matters. Every share matters. Every act of kindness saves lives. ❤️🐾

💗 It’s still $5 Friday… and I almost missed it.

I’ll be honest… I completely forgot today was Friday.

When you’re caring for 70+ rescued animals, the days all seem to run together. My mornings start before the sun comes up, and by the time I finish feeding, cleaning kennels, washing bowls, giving medications, walking dogs, and handling emergencies, I honestly lose track of what day it is.

But it’s not too late.

If you’ve ever wanted to help our rescue, today would mean more than I can put into words.

Right now, we’re facing unexpected medical bills, and our food supply is running dangerously low. Every dollar that comes in goes right back into these animals—for food, medications, veterinary care, cleaning supplies, puppy pads, and everything they need to stay healthy and safe.

A $5 donation may not seem like much, but when enough people give, it becomes bags of food, lifesaving medication, and full bellies.

If you’ve been watching our rescue, cheering us on, or following the stories of these dogs, this is one of those moments where your support truly matters.

And if you’re unable to donate, please don’t scroll past. Sharing this post could put it in front of someone who can help. Sometimes one share is all it takes to reach the right person.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in these animals and for standing beside Tails of Hope Animal Rescue & Adoption Center, INC. ❤️🐾
