This proclamation from Governor Mikie Sherrill is in recognition of Medical Laboratory Professionals Week, April 19-25, 2026!

Medical Laboratory Professionals Week is a time to recognize laboratorians who perform millions of diagnostic test procedures in hospitals and clinical laboratories.

As critical members of the healthcare team, laboratorians work behind the scenes to verify the accuracy of test results, and to provide test results in a timely manner to health care providers who rely on these results to provide outstanding patient care.

As “unsung heroes” they deserve recognition for their dedication to quality and for their dedication in maintaining the highest standards in healthcare for New Jersey residents.
