Mount Dora Yacht Club Regatta The Mount Dora Yacht Club has been hosting an annual regatta since 1913. This year marks our 73rd annual Regatta and will be held on March 21st & 22nd.

Congratulations Cosette Fitzsimmons 🎊🙌
We were thrilled to have the opportunity to recognize the student artist chosen as this years winner for the art contest. Her rendition was used on our poster, the cover of our brochure, and even the back of all the T shirts! We presented a scholarship check and swag from our presenting sponsor, UF Health during the schools chapel ceremony and recognized the art teacher, Maegan Benton for this unique community collaboration with the MDYC.
Thank you to our Regatta Committee and panel of judges that worked to make this happen!

Friday 3:00-6:00 pm. Early launching at Grantham Point Launch area
4:30-7:00 pm. Registration/check-in at MDYC. (bar available)

Saturday, March 29th -
8:30 am-11:00 am. Sailor Check-in at Pavilion in Gilbert Park
8:00-10:00 am Continental Grab-n-Go breakfast and “Sailing Snacks”
near ramp at launch area
9:00-11:00 am Ship’s Store open near ramp at launch area
11:00 am. Skippers meeting- just South of launch
12:30 pm Warning Signal for First Race Lake Dora
5:00-6:00 pm. Social Hour-Entertainment MDYC & waterfront/deck

5:30-8:00 pm. Skipper’s Dinner- Catered by Pisces Rising

The job of Clinical Navigator, Kathy Hough at UF Health Leesburg Hospital is crucial. Hearing her heart for patients pre and post op care is amazing. What an asset to the cardio team there...the MDYC was thankful to meet her and learn more about her role at our Heart Health Night recently.
