Friends of Shenandoah Mountain joined with PATC's Shenandoah Mountain Trail Crew, the Virginia Wilderness Committee, Headwaters Master Naturalists, and Shenandoah Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society to pull garlic mustard at Hone Quarry Recreation Area. Twelve volunteers pulled in the picnic are and campground and along the road up to the low-water bridge and beyond. Many thanks to all the volunteers who came out to pull in the rain. Their work will enable the rich variety of wildflowers at Hone Quarry to thrive.
