Arrow of Light Scouts Aidan and Cruz planned a fun afternoon with the Residents at St. Mary’s Villa. We made bird feeders (about 100) out of paper rolls, peanut butter and bird seed and then we hung them outside! The residents can’t wait to see all the birds! t

JTPD Chief Bacon coordinated raising funds to purchase a new pinewood derby track for the Pack. Several local businesses donated toward the cause including: Predictable Property LLC
Milewski Towing, Portanova Landscaping & Snow, Metschulat Electrical Contractors . The scouts of Pack 133 are extremely grateful for the efforts of Chief Bacon and the generosity of these businesses. Next year’s pinewood derby is going to be the best one yet!

Race day! Pack 133 hosted their 13th annual pinewood derby and the Scouts all did an amazing job, from building their cars with their families, to their amazing sportsmanship throughout the day! Congratulations to our winners!

It was a beautiful day at Goose Pond and Pack 133 made the most of it! We hiked down to Mr. Bill’s winter campsite, he had it set up for us to learn about camping in the winter safely. He also taught us the square knot and the bowline. When we got back to the cabin we had some down time with legos and board games while the Dads worked on getting the fire ready to cook our foil packets. We then went sledding and had a blast. After a quick snack we learned about first aid from Carter from Troop 133 and then practiced our skits for the campfire! After dinner we had our awesome campfire filled with skits, jokes and songs!

Over the past few weeks Pack 133 has had lots of fun! Our Bear Den visited St. Mary’s Villa and read some of their favorite books to the residents. We had a visit from Santa at our Holiday Pack meeting and we made ornaments for the residents at St. Mary’s! Today we visited St. Mary’s again to sing Christmas Carols. The Scouts were also able to fix their train and have it up and running!
