‼️‼️ We are looking to do a fundraiser to help with a washer and dryer here at the Catfe. ‼️‼️

The state investigator was out again Friday for a surprise visit to investigate more complaints (same people again, of course) and said that we really need to make it a priority to get onsite laundry installed.

Laundry leaves the facility daily and comes back clean the next day, thanks to our volunteers. He said even so, it’s just better as a whole to keep it onsite so germs aren’t being carried to homes or laundromats across Macomb County.

We need front loaders and dryers, an installer, permit, and if we go with ventless, we won’t need any construction.

I’m thinking maybe a bake sale? I haven’t looked yet, but I’m assuming washer, dryer, permit, and install will run us about $2000.

Any ideas for a quick way to raise funds?

The bottle returns are doing great. February returns totaled $845 and that paid off/down vet balances to zero for Wilson’s and nearly zero to Family Paws. That one is a running tally so very hard to keep it at zero.

This is Samoas sleeping during the investigation Friday and Jasper not taking no for an answer on pets. Not a single care in the world. ❤️

If you want to attend the Walk for Rosie’s this Sunday, we do need to know the shirt size by tomorrow.

Leigh Ann will be leading the walk and we will have rocks you can paint, or those already painted for you to “hide” along the trail on the way back.

There will be a small Little Rock Hunt along the way and the lucky finder will receive an RKC surprise upon return.

We will be open for half hour visits for those attending the walk and your ticket also includes a Zio’s grab and go meal, exclusive Rosie’s Walk t-shirt, visit, and kitty cuddles, too!

If you’d like to paint your own rock, please arrive 15 minutes early.

This sounds like so much fun!

We have a very affordable Halloween fundraiser coming up at the Emerald in Mt Clemens.

$35 a ticket and includes a live band, Parallel Fifth.

Costumes are optional, but we here at Rosie’s will be dressed up and ready to celebrate spooky season with like minded people in the community.

Come show some support, enjoy a live band, dance floor, and meet some of the best cat loving volunteers around.

Remembering Rosie, Regina, Phoenix, Thor, Sweets, Sweet Pea, Lovey, Sloan, Honor, Angel, Pepper, Cuddles, Brenda, Brandon, Sistine, Church, Trinity, Teddy, BK Boy, Gio, GI Jane, Ginny, Saint, Aloha, and so many more we helped cross that we never met and had them privately cremated and memorialized on the Rainbow Wall. 💔
