Mission

American Youth Group (AYG) is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting at risk youth, ages 12-21, in the inner cities. Our primary goal is to provide job and life training skills and after school/weekend activities for youth as an alternative to gang membership and drug and alcohol abuse. We believe by keeping teens busy they stay out of trouble. We offer educational seminars on basic life skills that they don’t learn from school or home. As well as job-training programs to gain skills needed in today’s workplace. We do this through our fundraising efforts as well as actively collaborating with community partners. AYG does not discriminate on the basis of gender, religious affiliation, national origin, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
