📢The Clinton River Watershed Council has scheduled a volunteer trash cleanup at📍 Shadyside Park in Mt. Clemens on September 2️⃣, 2020 from 10am-12pm as part of the Weekly Clean events. 😎

All the materials necessary will be provided (trash grabbers, gloves, bags, etc.) to volunteers who attend.✅

Our first ever interior project was a success! We owe a HUGE thank you to Brian and Jeremy for all of their hard work, and to those who donated supplies. After a run in with a bad contractor and health issues left this sweet woman living in a construction zone for over a year, we knew we had to do something to help out. There is still much work to be done but walls and a ceiling were a great start!

First off, thank you to everyone who has donated their returnables to our Neighbors Helping Neighbors bottle drive over the past two months! The overwhelming support of our community was amazing ❤️

When a lawnmower freak accident left me with stitches and a broken leg, many people joked it was a sign for me to slow down.... and two doctors confirmed 😂 Don’t worry, NHN will continue in full force but I can no longer manage bottle pickups. There are many local animal shelters, school athletics, and other worthwhile causes still collecting for those looking to donate!

I can’t wait to update you with a total when they have been returned, but I believe we have collected enough to met our goal to cover state and federal legal filing fees to become an official 501c nonprofit!

Thank you again, Mount Clemens neighbors, for your ongoing support. Get ready to see some big things happening once this girl is up and walking! 😁🤞😉

Mt. Clemens Neighbors Helping Neighbors is SO excited to announce that we are officially accepting neighbor nominations for the 2020 spring/summer season!!!

Our mission is to unite and empower citizens to volunteer, and show them that just a few hours of their day can be life changing to a fellow resident. Our mission for our neighbors in need is essentially a welcome home party. Welcome back into the arms of your community, you are NOT forgotten.

If you know of a Mount Clemens homeowner having trouble maintaining their property, please reach out to us and anonymously nominate them. If you would like to volunteer or donate supplies, please also contact us!
