Don't forget that the Dukes Hike is tomorrow!!! Come on out and hike with us!

Nevada Dukes will be meeting to hike as a group on Mount Charleston at 10am. It should still be under 80 degrees on the mountain at 10am, but may reach up to 85 by the time we are done.

Please park at Fletcher Trailhead. The best way to find the trailhead parking lots is to type "Kyle Canyon Picnic Area" into your mapping app of choice. Keep driving past the signs for the picnic area, and you should see the parking lots on your left.
Look for a Yellow Fiat with JMU swag, coffee, and donuts :)

Be prepared to lose cell phone service as you drive up the mountain. Make sure to start your GPS toward the destination before leaving home.

Below is a link to the 2.7 mile loop we will be hiking, check it out!:

The beginning of the hike has a fairly steep hill, but it levels out at the split.

Things to bring:

Hi Nevada Dukes!

In June, we will be participating in the Dukes Hike to benefit the Madison Vision Fund!

Nevada Dukes will be hiking as a group on Saturday June 11th, at 10am. Since we all know how hot it is here in Vegas, we will be hiking up on Mt. Charleston to escape the heat!

Please park at Fletcher Trailhead. Look for a Yellow Fiat with JMU swag, coffee, and donuts :)

Be prepared to lose cell phone service as you drive up the mountain. Make sure to start your GPS toward the destination before leaving home.
