🐾 DONATIONS NEEDED FOR OUR 9TH ANNUAL CHINESE AUCTION 🐾
Mommy & Me Rescue’s 8th Annual Chinese Auction will be held November 13 and 14, 2026, and we are asking local businesses, organizations, and members of our community to help make this important fundraiser a success.
We are currently accepting:
🎁 Completed gift baskets
🎟️ Gift cards and gift certificates
🛍️ New merchandise or services
💜 Monetary donations to help us create baskets
This year has been especially difficult because of my cancer diagnosis and treatment. I have not been able to dedicate the same amount of time and energy to preparing for the auction as I have in previous years. Because of this, we are relying more than ever on the generosity of our wonderful supporters.
Every donation—large or small—will help make the auction successful and allow Mommy & Me Rescue to continue providing veterinary care, food, shelter, and second chances to dogs in need. Your support also helps us continue our FIDOS SCI Coal Township program.
If you or your business would like to donate a basket, gift card, certificate, item, service, or monetary contribution, please contact us to arrange delivery or pickup.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing beside Mommy & Me Rescue during this challenging year. Your kindness means more than we can express, and together we can make our 8th Annual Chinese Auction a success for the dogs who depend on us.

Rio
Jack Russell mix
4 yrs old
40 pounds

Rio is a very happy boy and will make everyday a good one. He is extremely intelligent and learns quickly. His favorite activities are giving kisses and squeaking his squeak toys.
Rio is house-trained and crate-trained.
Rio is Jack Russell mixed with cattle dog. This means he is energetic and likes to “herd” his people. Because he herds we recommend no small children. He is not aggressive in anyway but he could accidentally hurt small children trying to get them to go where he wants (herding).
Rio prefers dogs his own size or a little smaller. He does ok with big dogs with proper introduction but we prefer he goes to a home with no dogs over knee-high.
Rio was trained at FIDOS SCI Coal Township and knows the following:
Heel
Stay
Other Side
Leave it
Sit
Wait
Get it
Down
Come
Off
Give it
Up
Under
Touch
Sleep
Roll-over
