I havent been as active as Id like to have been, had alot going on with my mental health but I was given this gaint donation from a single person. It made my entire day. As I was restocking I was brought another donation and I just want to say thank you to all the supportive people in our community who keep the pantry going when I slacked off due to my own issues.

I want to personally apologize that I have been slacking alot on restock and doing the necessary things for the pantry lately. I had gotten sick and finally getting better. I'm also adding the final details for the fundraiser so keep being patient with me and I promise things will get back to normal soon!

I want to apologize that restock has been slow, I twisted my ankle and currently an unable to bare much pressure on it. I am able to walk a few steps and then its antagonizing pain. So the pantry may be a bare for a bit. Please be patient with me.

I have some exciting news!
I have been working on a fundraiser in secret. I didn't want to make it known until I had a location, and as of today....WE HAVE A LOCATION!
Big shout out to our lovely host; Moore Than Just BBQ! They are graciously allowing us to hold our fundraiser at the restaurant, ya'll know what the means right? Good food and fun! All in one.
** If you have a small business, or know a small businesses who'd like to donate a basket for the fundraiser please tag them below! We have quite a few baskets already in the works from some amazing small businesses. **

Today is a big day for The Village Cupboard!
Today I am facing my biggest fear on public speaking and giving a speech as to why our pantry deserve a donation from the VFW.
I put alot of heart, into this speech and I hope to bring good news soon! ❤️

**IMPORTANT NOTICE**

Please be advised that our pantry maintains a smoke-free environment, and smoking is strictly prohibited within the premises. Recently, four cigarette butts were discovered inside the pantry, compromising the cleanliness and potentially jeopardizing our continued use of the facility provided by the city. To uphold the quality of the food we receive, I request that everyone ensures the door is properly closed. I acknowledge that the pantry's inventory has not been as extensive as desired. However, this is attributed to the pantry's struggle to meet demand. Currently, our donations are insufficient to meet our output. Nevertheless, I am actively pursuing larger donations from various organizations to support our pantry with essential items. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to me. What are somethings I can do better, or maybe you'd love to see in our future.
What are somethings you've enjoyed finding inside the pantry outside of food items. Are the random home items, clothing and shoes a good thing, or do you feel its to much?
