A Flood Watch is in effect for portions of San Bernardino County from Saturday evening, October 10, through Sunday evening, October 11. Heavy rainfall may lead to flash flooding in low-lying areas, roadways, and areas near recent burn scars.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reminds residents to stay informed, prepare an emergency kit, and have an evacuation plan in place. Never attempt to drive through flooded roadways.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for portions of San Bernardino County through 7:30 p.m.

Affected areas include Yucaipa, Forest Falls, western Mount San Gorgonio, Mountain Home Village, Highway 38 between Yucaipa and Onyx Summit and Mentone.

Yesterday, three of our new team members completed a physical and mental stressful day of a mock scenario. This scenario, requires them to work as a team to hike to, assess, rescues, treat and transport an “injured hiker”. This day long scenario tests many aspects of their training to this point, along with their ability to work together under as a team.
