The New Jersey Board of Education will eliminate the requirement for most teacher candidates to pass basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills tests to gain certification. This new rule, effective January 1, 2025, excludes those seeking limited certificates of eligibility.

A meaningful way for your kids to spend Presidents' Day (this Monday) when they're off from school - some kids will be presenting speeches from past Presidents and there will be live music from the Picatinny Powder Kegs - the program in the auditorium at Washington's Headquarters in Morristown will run from 10:15am (with the Museum opening at 10) until about 11:45.
