Interested in Heliskiing with NPLB Outdoors? Here’s How It Works!

Hey everyone! We’ve been getting a lot of interest from veterans about our upcoming heliskiing trip with Snowwater Heli Skiing in British Columbia this January, and we want to make sure everyone understands how this opportunity works.

🤝🏼SPONSORSHIP IS REQUIRED.
Each sponsor covers their own participation along with the cost of sponsoring a veteran. We currently have two sponsorships available, which could open the door for two more veterans if we can secure the necessary sponsors.

🇺🇸 WHO QUALIFIES?
Combat-disabled veterans, with preference given to Purple Heart recipients.

⚠️ IMPORTANT FOR VETERANS

Please do NOT submit an inquiry through Snowwater Heliskiing’s website. NPLB Outdoors manages the veteran application process, and Snowwater’s inquiry form is intended for those interested in sponsoring a veteran, NOT veterans applying to participate.

🇺🇸 VETERANS:
Submit your veteran interest form at:
👉🏼 nplboutdoors.org/veteran

Please keep in mind that submitting an interest form does not guarantee a spot.

For a lot of our veterans, getting back outside isn’t just recreation. It’s proof that their story isn’t over.

This is what adaptive adventure looks like. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just determination, resilience, and the willingness to take on what comes next.

Hunting season is here, and for veterans living with life-changing injuries, getting back into the field may require a different approach. At NPLB Outdoors, that means adaptive equipment, experienced guides, and a team willing to figure out what it takes to make the hunt happen.

The terrain might be challenging. The approach might look different. But the hunt is still theirs.

The woods are still calling.

Frederick Festival of Flight! ✈️🇺🇸

We had a great time meeting everyone, sharing the NPLB Outdoors mission, and being part of such an incredible day celebrating aviation and our community.

A huge thank you to the entire team at Frederick Municipal Airport, for inviting NPLB Outdoors to be part of the festival. We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with the community and share what we do.

A perfect fit, made from the ground up. 🇺🇸

Each year during Boots For The Brave, our veterans head out to Lucchese boot factory to be fitted for fully custom cowboy boots designed specifically to work with their prosthetics.

Made for them. Built for adventure.

Some fishing guides don’t just host a trip. They show up for the mission. 🇺🇸

We’re incredibly grateful to Blü River Lodge Alaska for welcoming our group and treating our veterans to an unforgettable day on the water. It’s especially meaningful knowing the owner is a fellow Marine who understands the importance of camaraderie and giving back to the veteran community.

And the fishing was absolutely incredible.

Standing thigh deep in the powerful current of the Kasilof River, our group battled chrome salmon from the Kenai Peninsula and filled coolers while wearing huge smiles that never seemed to leave their faces.

There were fish landed, fish lost, and plenty of stories in between. It was one of those days where the fishing was great, the company was even better, and nobody wanted it to end.

Thank you, Blu River Lodge, for the incredible hospitality and for going above and beyond for our veterans. We’re grateful for the memories you helped create in Alaska. 🎣

What a day on the course! ⛳️🇺🇸

Our 11th Annual Golf Tournament was a huge success, raising more than $67,000 in support of NPLB Outdoors’ mission! 👏🏼

We couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and everyone who came out to spend the day with us.

To every sponsor who invested in our mission, every golfer who joined us, and every person who helped make this event possible, thank you. Your support helps us continue creating meaningful outdoor experiences and lasting connections for wounded, injured, and ill veterans and their families.

Thank you for helping us make this year’s tournament one to remember! We’re incredibly grateful for the community that continues to stand behind our mission.
