Was so great to have the boys from the Masonic Home for Childern at Oxfords back at CRK. It’s been several years since they were able to come to a camp out. Thanks to Brother Ryan McMillian, who coordinated the camp out, and his family: wife Ashley, daughters Kenzey and Camrey, and friend of family Tucker Beamer; Brothers Stephen McCraw, Barry Boyles (and son Tyler), Mark Sexton, BJ Boyles, Dean Gordon, Homer Dearmin, David Galimore, Marshall Whitt, Gordon Jolly, Kenny Ward (with guest Trudy Solomon), Guy McMillion and a special thanks to Tyler Reinhardt and Todd Frye; and the Staff at Raven Knob Scout Reservation.

It is with deep sorrow that I am announcing the death of WB Denny Holder, member of Granite #322. He was influential in his masonic career and served our Lodge wholeheartedly. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Friday, December 16th at Highland Park Baptist Church with burial to follow at Skyline Memorial Gardens with full military honors and Masonic Graveside Rites by Granite Lodge #322. Please arrive at the service by 10:30am for preparation. If it is within the length of your cable tow, please attend and pay last respects for our Brother.

Granite Lodge #322 will host a Past Masters night along with Awards night tomorrow evening, Tuesday, October 18th. In addition, the Dan Beard Masonic Scouter Award will be presented to one of our Brethren. Fellowship meal served at 6:30 PM. The awards presentation will be first right after 7:30 PM opening of the Lodge so that guests may attend. Hope to see you all there and if you're a Scout please wear your uniform.

Congratulations to Sammy Shaw in winning 1st prize of our raffle held yesterday evening. 2nd prize went to Eddie Dalton and 3rd prize went to Bro. Guy McMillian. Thanks to everyone that participated and helped supported our Masonic Charities.

There will be a graveside service on Thursday, February 17th 2022 at 2:00pm, Skyline Memorial Gardens 432 Old Buck Shoals Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030. Masonic Graveside Rites by Granite Lodge 322. Please arrive at the gravesite by 1:30pm for preparation of the service. We have lost one of our beloved members, Brother Willis Wall passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, in Winston-Salem. Brother Wall was a member of Granite Lodge since 1974 and moved his membership to Ararat Lodge in 2005. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 2:00 PM at People’s Church Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Easter officiating. Masonic Rites conducted by WB Nick Jarrell for the Lodge will follow the pastor’s service. We ask that all our Brethren please make preparations to participate if at all possible. We’ll meet at 1:30 PM at the cemetery prior to the service; 218 Gospel Time Way, Mt Airy, NC 27030. This is off of Old Hwy 52 near the I-74 overpass.
