As part of the “We Honor Veterans” partnership, Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care initiated a new program named “Operation Home Front.” This program is designed to connect, recognize and support our local home town heroes. Our goal is to connect veterans to other veterans as well as our agency help veterans connect to our known resources throughout the community. We want our local vetera

ns to know we recognize their presence in our community and allow us to recognize them for their service; just our way of wanting to say “Thank You!” Finally, we want to support our local veterans based on their individual needs and goals. Our agency is comprised of veterans dedicated to the needs of helping their comrades adjust to daily living in civilian life through veteran to veteran support.
