Today is the day!!!
Join Spoken Word Society Writing Club for our new monthly meeting time:

📅 Every 3rd Friday📍Pages Books & Coffee☕ 4:45 PM — Caffinate📝 5ish — We start writing
This month, we’re opening the door with a strange little prompt:
“Every mirror in the house started showing a different version of their life.”
What happens next? You tell us!

And if that prompt isn’t your thing, write something else! Our prompts are invitations, not assignments. Bring a poem, a story, a memory, a wild idea—or just a blank page.
We believe good writing happens when people feel safe enough to experiment.
So grab a coffee, grab your notebook, and come write with us. ❤️

📣 NEW NIGHT. SAME WRITING COMMUNITY.

Spoken Word Society Writing Club is moving to the 3rd Friday of every month at Pages Books & Coffee!

We’ll gather at 4:45 PM to caffinate ☕ and get started around 5ish. Because, honestly, some stories require caffeine.

Our writing topic this month:

🪞 “Every mirror in the house started showing a different version of their life.”

Take the prompt and run with it. Twist it. Turn it upside down. Or toss it aside and write something completely different.

Whatever you write, you’ll find a safe space to share, discuss, laugh, question, and explore.

No experience required. No perfect words required. Just come as you are.

This month at Spoken Word Society Writing Club, we’re starting with:
“Every mirror in the house started showing a different version of their life.”
Where would your story go from there?
Maybe the mirrors tell the truth. Maybe they lie. Maybe they show the life you could have lived or the one you’re afraid you’re living.
Or maybe that prompt does absolutely nothing for you.

That’s okay, too!

Bring whatever you want to write. Our writing club is a safe, welcoming space to explore ideas, share words, and talk about the stories we create.
And remember we are now meeting on the 3rd Friday of every month at Pages Books & Coffee

Starting this month, Spoken Word Society Writing Club is moving to the 3rd Friday of every month at Pages Books & Coffee!

Come early to caffinate at 4:45 PM, and we’ll start writing around 5ish. ☕📝

This month’s writing topic:

“Every mirror in the house started showing a different version of their life.”

Use the prompt as your jumping-off point—or completely ignore it and write whatever is calling to you. There are no rules about what you have to write.

Come write. Come listen. Come share—or simply come be part of the conversation.

No judgment. No competition. Just a safe space to put words on paper.
