Urgent!!!!! Hercules needs help NOW!!!!! His last day is Monday June 22d at 5 pm!!!!! I was able to get a little extension.

He is a sweet dog and does great with other dogs. His only fault is that his owner didn't teach him basic obedience. He pulls on the leash and will jump up. Easy to fix and he deserves a chance.

Please reach out to the shelter if you can help him!!!!

PLEASE PROTECT YOUR DOGS FROM HEATSTROKE!!!

Dogs sweat through their paw pads and noses only. This is not enough to help them cool down when it's really hot and humid like it has been this week.

Be extra careful with dogs that have short snouts. English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Pugs, Boston Terriers, Bull Mastiff, Boxers, Shih Tzu, Pekingese and Lhasa Apso are all considered Brachycephalic breeds. You need to be extra carful with these dogs because they sometimes struggle just to breathe in normal conditions.

Owner found!!!!!!

Meet Ridzo, he needs a foster home while he undergoes heart worm treatment.

Ridzo walked up to the door of a local gym and begged for help. The amazing people there took him in and one of the customers brought him home. She gave him food and water and then called us.

Ridzo has Lyme disease, heart worm disease, a mass on his rear end, he is skinny and he had hook worms. He has been treated for the Lyme and hook worms but he had just started the pre treatment for his heart worms. Once he is done with the treatment he will be neutered and the mass will be removed if needed.

We need someone that can care for Ridzo in their home while he does the heart worm treatment. Once he gets the injection he will need to be leash walked and watched so that he doesn't overexert himself.

Of course we would love to find him a forever home and we will still cover his treatment.

We need help covering his medical bills, If you would like to give a donation we have a PayPal account on our website at surryanimalrescue.org.
