Wow, Moundridge what an incredible weekend!
On behalf of the Moundridge Lions Club, thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this year's Black Kettle Festival such a success. We hope you enjoyed the festivities and experienced all that our new downtown location had to offer.
Change always comes with challenges, and while nothing is ever perfect, countless hours of planning, coordination, and hard work went into making this transition a reality. We are especially grateful to the City of Moundridge, our Fire Department Police department EMS personnel, local businesses, nearby residents, volunteers, and community partners who worked together to help create a safe, welcoming, and memorable event for everyone.
One of the greatest strengths of our community is the willingness of people to come together, support one another, and make great things happen. This festival was a perfect example of that spirit in action.
As we look ahead, we're excited about the possibilities for future festivals. We'd love to expand our family and children's activities with additions such as turtle races, scavenger hunts, and other fun attractions that can make the Black Kettle Festival even more enjoyable for all ages.
To every volunteer, sponsor, business owner, city employee, and community member who played a part thank you. Your support, dedication, and enthusiasm are what make events like this possible.
We hope you had a wonderful time, and we are already looking forward to planning an even bigger and better Black Kettle Festival next year. See you then!
