YMCA Camp Christmas Tree is a wonderful place for your child to experience fun, outdoor adventures this summer! YMCA Camp Christmas Tree provides a week packed full of exciting and structured activities for the new and returning camper. Located on beautiful Dutch Lake near Mound, campers age 4-14 participate in small, age-appropriate groups as they build self-esteem, learn new skills, and practice

the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. And each year, every child leaves with special beads to mark their accomplishments and treasured experiences. Traditional camp activities include lake swimming, canoeing, archery, games, environmental education, cookouts, camp crafts such as tie-dye, and more. For the older campers, our 50-foot climbing tower adds further challenges and excitement! On hot days, campers cool off under our umbrella tree spray mister. And Wee Backpackers will love our new, low-to-the-ground tree houses. YMCA Camp Christmas Tree also offers a variety of specialty camps including Water Skiing, Horseback Riding, Canoeing/Kayaking, Arts and Crafts, Fishing, etc. Come explore YMCA Camp Christmas Tree -great fun, great people, great experiences, and great memories!

The moment you've all been waiting for... It's time for our annual Open House! We are still on for this evening, but plan to bring an umbrella or a rain jacket as we celebrate in the great outdoors!

Open house will run from 6pm-8pm tonight, with shuttles starting to run at 6:00pm. ALL PARKING is located at River Valley Church (5595 Westwood Ave, Mound, MN 55364). Please carpool as parking is somewhat limited.

You can come and go as you please and get a sneak peek at Day Camp before the season begins! Open houses are the perfect opportunity to explore camp as a family, meet our staff, and get a feel for what your camper can expect. Bring your questions - we’re here to help you get ready for summer!

"I am so excited to be spending my summers at Camp Christmas Tree! Though I wasn't a CCT camper, I went to camp every summer and it was an integral part of my childhood and development. Camp Christmas Tree staff, alumni & grown-ups/parents, we would love to invite you to Join the Y Adventure Charity Team for the 2026 Twin Cities Marathon!

Y Adventure has a charity team for the TC Marathon weekend events this year!

By joining our team you not only get to have a super fun day running but will also help raise funds for our incredible programs.
