This Saturday, April 25th MFD will be conducting a live fire training burn at a vacant house on Painter Road.

Note, there will be smoke and flames present along with large volumes of emergency service vehicles in this area throughout the day.

Thank you Chief Pederson for your service to our community and our Mound Fire family! 👨🏼‍🚒🚒♥️

After 51 years of exceptional service, Chief Greggory Pederson will retire from the Mound Fire Department this June.

Chief Pederson joined the fire service in February 1975 as a firefighter and has moved through the department as a Captain, a Training Officer, an Assistant Fire Chief, the Emergency Management Director and ultimately the Fire Chief. In his career, he has answered 15,400 calls for fire and emergency service.

Please congratulate Chief Pederson on an incredible career and legacy here in Mound.

Dear Friends and Community,
We are reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for the Paszkiewicz family during an incredibly difficult time. Their beloved son, Weston Paszkiewicz, is coming home to be with his family after a courageous battle with leukemia.

As you can imagine, this has been an emotional and financial strain on the family. Between medical expenses, time away from work, and preparing their home for Weston’s comfort, they are facing challenges no family should have to face alone.
