Historic Griffin Cemetery Tours
We only have tours one day a year. On October 20th, 2018 we are holding our Sixth Annual event with tours at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm & 2 pm. This is our first year to tell the “stories” of families represented in the First Addition which was added north of the old section - Block A. During our last five years we presented the families in the original section of the cemetery.
This land, in the 1720’s and later, is believed to be the early habitation of French families. Our oldest marked graves are Burissa and Benjamin Bradford who died in 1848, children of Lyman & Cynthia Davis Bradford.
