Parkers Purpose January 16, 2012 changed our lives forever. After mommy, daddy and big sister anxiously awaited the new babies arrival, our lives changed in an instant.

Parkers Purpose supplies hospitals Labor and Delivery units with care boxes filled with comfort and memorial items to help mothers during their stay and the hard days that follow. The dreaded sound of "I'm so sorry" from my dr and my nurse in that ultrasounds room. When our son was born at just 16 weeks we received him in a beautiful blanket that I will always treasure. I have decided to raise mon

ey to sew blankets to donate them and teddy bears to the hospital's labor and delivery unit. Although we hope that they never have to be handed out to grieving parents like us, the blanket and knitted sock that he was brought to us in when we held him where so beautiful. It was nice to have something that was "his" since this was such a surprise and where not prepared for this. They were beautiful. Graciously donated by a group of woman to bring us comfort.....and it did. My husband then bought me a teddy bear the following morning to hold on to and I was so appreciative to have such an amazing husband to think of it. We would like others to have as much comfort as possible during such a time of sorrow. Thanks so much for joining our page as we know our son Parker has a purpose far beyond the short time we spent with him. Parker has went on to become a big brother of 2 more of our precious angels. We gained another angel in Aug of 2014 at just 6 weeks pregnant and A daughter, Harper Michelle Feb. 18, 2014 at 11 weeks pregnant.

Some people go into this room…
and come out a whole different person.

An ultrasound room.
Where you walk in holding your breath, hoping to hear the steady rhythm of a heartbeat.
But instead, you hear silence.

That silence changes you.
It breaks you.
It reshapes you into someone who knows a pain most can’t imagine.

You don’t walk out the same.
You walk out carrying invisible grief.
You walk out with memories instead of milestones.
You walk out with love that has nowhere to go.

And unless someone has been in that room,
they’ll never truly understand how it feels to leave without the sound you prayed for.

So if you’ve ever been in that room…
my heart is with you.
You are not alone.
