I know a lot of families and friends were looking forward to a walk this year but unfortunately OGCA will not be holding the walk this year or years to come, I apologize for everything it hurts me just as much as you guys! I have reached out to Parkers Purpose, an organization that is exactly what I wanted OGCA to become, founder and asked her to take over at least starting next year!!! She is amazing and has a lot already on her plate so please don’t be upset if she decides not to take this on!!! If in a few years I am in a better place and can give 100% to OGCA I will bring it back!!! I will pin this to the top of OGCA’s page, I ask for everyone to share this post and go like, share, and support Rebecca’s organization Parkers Purpose for the MS/AL Gulf Coast!!!! Again from the bottom of my heart I am sorry to do this!!! I love and appreciate everyone of you!!! God bless!!!

Any who knows how to crochet reach out to Rebecca Darby Schroeder to help!!!

Parkers Purpose is in desperate need of crochet volunteers! We use these beautiful angel wings to hang near the hospital door to I from the hospital staff of an angel birth. If your interested in helping I would love to talk to you! Here is an example! They can be a similar pattern/ style as long as they are white and roughly 4 inches wide.

ATTENTION OGCA FRIENDS & FAMILY:

I hate that I have to even post this but all this year’s money raised off of shirts, raffles, etc will be given to Rebecca Schroeder to put in to Parkers Purpose for her to either save to go towards another cuddle cot (that is $2,900) or other ways to help bereaved mommas and families!!! OGCA isn’t registered as a non profit since 2015/2016 (you have to reregister every 3yrs I believe) because I personally haven’t been able to do with OGCA what I wanted to do when I first started this because LIFE hit hard and my I had to put my family and living children first before this organization which anyone who knows me knows I put my blood sweat and tears in!!!! We have used money in the past to buy boxes, items for them, books, and help some parents by giving money to them to help with funerals and expenses not a lot because we never made thousands and thousands of dollars!!! And the last walk had the money was given to Parkers Purpose!!! Parkers Purpose is doing what I wanted to do with OGCA and more but I promised myself and my angels I would still do the walks but any and all money raised will be given to Parkers Purpose because they are still up and running amazingly with Rebecca’s 100% attention which unfortunately I don’t have anymore for OGCA like I did when I was a stay at home mom!!!! I will like to keep OGCA as a support group and memorial page and keep doing the walks but if everyone will feel better with me letting Rebecca, Parkers Purpose, taking over the walks ever year I will gladly just help with anything she needs, if she would be willing and ok with doing so of course!!!! That being said I appreciate everyone’s understanding and support!!!!
