The Power of a Caring ALUMNI!

The Moss Point School District Alumni Association’s HEALTH and WELLNESS NETWORK is proud to announce the inaugural TIGERLAND HEALTH and WELLNESS FAIR on Saturday June 4, 2022 from 10am -2pm.

This event evolved from a Facebook post and comments by fellow Alumns, KENDRICK VIVIANS and ROLAND MIMS (both MPHS Class of 1998), that spoke to their concern for the status of the health of fellow ALUMNI after the untimely passing of BRYAN TATE (MPHS Class of 1991). From that post a connection was made to ALBERTA THOMPSON NETTLES, MSN, RN (MPHS Class of 1996) to create an event that would offer health information and screenings to fellow ALUMNI and to the community at large.

Working together, with the support and resources of our title sponsor COASTAL FAMILY HEALTH CENTER and many other participants, this FREE EVENT to the community is made possible!

This event was created in loving memory of
🕊BRYAN TATE. We ask that you attend and help spread the word by sharing this flyer.

🎉WE ARE GETTING GEARED UP FOR DEVIN BOOKER DAY!!!🎉

Now that he’s made his presence known in the
☀️NBA FINALS☀️ and helped secure the
🥇GOLD🥇in Tokyo, it’s time to prepare for DEVIN BOOKER DAY!!!

Here’s where it begins……
We need FAMILIES, CHURCHES, ORGANIZATIONS, INDIVIDUALS……..EVERYBODY to come out to this Community Help Event, THIS SATURDAY - AUGUST 14, to get the Basketball Courts started and ready for the big day later this month. We are starting with the South 40 Court on Payne Street!

This Saturday- August 14th, beginning at 9AM, meet us at the SOUTH 40 and come help us get the Court Ready!!! It’s time to do a little painting to prepare for the big event!!! All we need is a little of your time and effort! READ THE FLYER FOR DETAILS!!!

We need Moss Point to turn out this Saturday so we can be ready for the RIBBON CUTTING, FOOD and FUN on DEVIN BOOKER DAY on August 28th!!!! (More details coming!)
