Caring for a child with disabilities is rewarding, but caregivers also need time to rest and recharge. Taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury—it’s essential to being able to keep showing up for your child.
Families enrolled in the Wisconsin Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) Program may qualify for respite care services that provide that much-needed break. One of the most helpful features of the program is flexibility—families can often choose their own respite provider, including a trusted friend, relative, or community member who meets program requirements. 🤝🏽
Whether it’s time to attend appointments, care for other family members, run errands, or simply rest and recharge, respite care can make a meaningful difference for the whole family.

You don’t have to do it all alone. 💙
