πA Little Lifesavers Update π
We know our page has been quiet lately, and we wanted to provide an honest update about why. We haven't made the progress we had hoped to by this point in the establishment of our organization. We are running very low on funds. In addition to creating and distributing our Kid Kits, we also have monthly reoccurring expenses such as our PO Box, storage locker, and website fee. These alone are quickly depleting our resources. More than that, we have had a difficult time getting responses from some of the EMS agencies we've reached out to, and we've struggled to get our message in front of those who might want to support what we're doing. We have also had reports that some of those that we have provided kits to have completely misplaced the kit altogether. Honestly, this has been very discouraging. We started Little Lifesavers because it was a mission we truly believed in, and there have been moments we have wondered if continuing is even possible. We don't want to walk away from something we believe in simply because we could not get support behind it. So, before we make any decisions, we want to be transparent with the people who have followed us, supported us, donated, shared our posts, or simply believe in what we're trying to accomplish. If you are wondering how you can help, it doesn't have to be a large donation. Every dollar helps. Sharing our page helps. Creating engagement on our page so others see it helps. Telling an EMS agency, first responder, business, friend, or family member about Little Lifesavers helps. Our goal has never been to become huge. We simply want to put Kid Kits in the hands of first responders so that they can offer comfort to a scared child when they need it most. We just need a little help keeping our mission alive.Thank you to everyone who has supported our journey so far. We couldn't have gotten this far without you. π
