Our brand new club taught me so many skills that I was equipped enough to win 3rd place in the final competition across all the districts and divisions!

Even when people are out of town, we’re still having fun, learning new skills and supporting one another!

Communication is one of the foundations for humanity and we’re here to assist you every Tuesday at 5:15 Real Life on the Palouse! Guests are welcome!

Tuesday evening we had a smaller group and yet it was so fun and rewarding! Our Sergeant in Arms, Doug, started us off and we were stunned by two amazing speakers, Lori and Stacy, who moved us with interesting, sensational presentations that really showed the group how effective storytelling can capture an audience!

Stacy took home the Best Speaker award and boy was that a tough one, because Lori’s presentation on a Labyrinth was riveting.

Dana gave her first ever inspirational quote that was sensitive and vulnerable, she was able to express it so gracefully and with courage. She also won the standout award for the evening and we are so proud of her accomplishment.

Denise did a wonderful job as toastmaster and Ivy was our creative table topics master , where she asked very specific and fun questions to the audience! Benedetta finally won an award for answering an impromptu question and took a selfie with her trophy!

Our lovely Anna won best evaluator for the evening and is proving to be a natural in the group!

Overall, our president Lori is leading us to greatness and we simply enjoy our community and the guests that visit us!

So excited that I got to represent our brand new club Latah County Toastmasters Club at the Humorous Speech Contest! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

It was a very tough contest with many of the excellent speakers being members for over 10 plus years! 🙌🏾

I thank our club for all the support and skills I have learned and for the of Pullman for coming out to support me, and I thank my husband Lane Parkins for being such a saint by listening to this speech over a 1000x and I last but not least, thank Jesus for being a part of my speech and helping me a long the way! So happy and I have no regrets!!!!

What a night we had as KO took the role of toastmaster and table topics master!

So many new faces and friends, we were super excited for our new guests and new members! Shannon , Jonathen and Heather WELCOME!!

We had amazing speeches and inspirational quotes and a lot of fun with the table topics!!!

Great Evening with our fellow Toastmasters, with the theme being international foods! 🍝🥗

By the end of the meeting we were all salivating from the discussion Doug, our Table Topics Master, gave us all the savory topic questions, which our very own Anna from Moscow Chamber of Commerce + Visitor Center graciously won 🙌🏾

We had two wonderful new guests, Shannon & Michelle and with our new member Phillip, we have a trifecta of Texans to add to our LATAH group! 🇺🇸

Benedetta presented her final presentation before heading over to Tacoma next week to compete for the Finals of the Humorous Speech Competition.

President Lori Bryant, who won inspirational quotes tonight presented Benedetta with the outstanding award for her hard work over the past few months, and later the group was able to give constructive feedback to further her skills! 🙏🏽

Overall it was a great meeting and we are excited to see the community take interest in such a collaborative group that intentionally works together on learning and excelling in public speaking! 🎙️

Looking to meet new friends and see what the buzz is all about? Come any Tuesday evening at 5:15 Real Life on the Palouse

We had a great night this evening with our themed topic being Hobbies, as we heard some enthusiastic answers to the fun topic questions! Shari told us she is not bad at anything as was inevitably was our winner!!! 😂

Both speeches were great and Stacey decided to share the win with KO!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

We had amazing inspirational quotes from Anastasia and Ivy with one being a personal poem! Anastasia won the category. 🤩

Denise got the outstanding award for her great job evaluating! 🙌🏾

Over all we had a wonderful time with the local toastmasters and our area director Joy Winning! ❤️
