MAMBA Board member Adam is leading this week. We’ll ride together and take breaks so that no one gets left behind. Come ready to explore some back roads, meet other riders, and enjoy beautiful fall weather and Palouse views.

Never ridden Moscow Mountain? Newer to mountain biking? This is your week!

🐌 Pace: Slow and social! Expect 1-2 laps on Balsam Route

MAMBA Board member Sandra is leading this week and recovering from pneumonia, so we’re keeping the pace extra mellow and enjoying the ride. This is a perfect opportunity for anyone who has wanted to try riding Moscow Mountain but has been intimidated by the pace or terrain.

We’ll ride together, take breaks, and no one gets left behind. Come ready to explore some trails, meet other riders, and enjoy an easy evening on the mountain.

🚵 MAMBA MONDAY IS BACK ON THE MOUNTAIN! 🚵

After several weeks away, we’re excited to finally be heading back to Moscow Mountain for tonight’s MAMBA Monday ride!

Tonight we’ll be riding Headwaters Trail—a perfect way to celebrate our first Monday ride since the mountain reopened. 🎉🌲

📍 Meet: Mountain View Park
🚲 Ride: Headwaters Trail
📅 Tonight – Monday, September 14 at 5:30pm

We’ll meet at Mountain View Park and carpool up to the trailhead. If you want to meet us at the Headwaters Parking Lot, expect the group to meet you around 5:45pm. Bring your bike, helmet, water, and layers—and with the days getting shorter, bring a headlamp or bike light!

As always, MAMBA Monday is a social, no-drop ride. Come enjoy some dirt, reconnect with the trails, and celebrate being back on Moscow Mountain.

🚵 MOSCOW MOUNTAIN MAMBA TRAILS ARE BACK OPEN! 🚵‍♀️

As of September 10, MAMBA trails on Moscow Mountain are OPEN for recreation!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who respected the closure, stayed off the mountain, and helped us be good neighbors during elevated fire conditions. We appreciate this community doing its part when it mattered.

Now it’s time to get back out there! Ride bikes, hike trails, enjoy the mountain—and as always, recreate responsibly and respect our landowners. 🌲🚵

MAMBA Monday is a 17 mile gravel ride this coming week, so bring your gravel bikes!
As always, we’ll meet at Mountain View Park for an ride estimated to take around 1.5 hours or less.

Bring your road bike, helmet, water, and lights—and come enjoy some miles with us!

When: Monday August 31 @ 5:30 pm
Route: Mountain View Park -> Mountain View Road -> Darby Road -> Robinson Park Road -> Brood Road -> Wallen Road -> Robinson Park Road -> Mountain View Road-> Finish!

Considering the continued mountain closure, MAMBA Monday is hitting the pavement this week, bring your road bikes! 🚲

As always, we’ll meet at Mountain View Park, but instead of heading up the mountain, we’ll hop on the Latah Trail and ride toward Troy.

Expect a chill evening road ride with smooth pavement, rolling Palouse scenery, and hopefully a great sunset. 🌅

Bring your road bike, helmet, water, and lights—and come enjoy some miles with us!

When: Monday August 24 @ 5:30 pm

Route: Mountain View Park -> Mountain View Road -> Latah Trail and then back!

📣IMPORTANT UPDATES!📣

‼️The Cedar Trail and cedar grove area will be closed TOMORROW, August 11 to allow IDL crews to remove diseased wood as part of the forest health project. This work will be completed tomorrow, and the trail will be reopened on Wednesday.

‼️Penstemon Path IS NOW CLOSED to public access by request of the landowner due to fire danger. The gate at the border of Idler's Rest is now closed and will remain closed until further notice. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Thank you so much for being outstanding outdoor citizens and respecting trail and road closures on Moscow Mountain and surrounding areas. As always, we will keep you posted on current conditions and hazards, and please help spread the word to your fellow outdoor recreation enthusiasts!
