Thank you to Heidi Heath, the 2026 Light a Candle Golf Committee, Moscow Elks 249, and all the generous sponsors and donors for raising more than $11,000 during the recent Light A Candle Golf Scramble in support of the Gritman Foundation Light a Candle program!

Heidi Heath, Annette Smith, Dana Hull, Jo Lynd, Mary Nelson, Haili Hull, and Sondra Hinkley are a dedicated team of community members who organize the annual golf scramble each August at the Moscow Elks Golf Course in support of cancer care services here on the Palouse.

As a cancer survivor and Light a Candle recipient herself, Heidi understands the impact these programs have on the lives of cancer patients.

The Light a Candle program is designed to ease some of the burdens that come with facing cancer by helping with services like grocery assistance, gas cards and more for patients currently undergoing cancer treatment.

Since 2018, the Light a Candle Golf Scramble has raised more than $67,000 for this important program.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year's event the most successful since its founding, and for your continued support of cancer care resources in our community!
