🏈 THE NEXT CHAPTER 🏈

The Morton Hogs Board of Directors is excited to announce that beginning with the Fall 2026 season, Morton Hogs Football will be competing in the Bloomington Area Football League (BAFL).

This move provides our players and families with the opportunity to compete against quality programs throughout Central Illinois while continuing to build on the tradition and success of Morton Hogs Football.

The BAFL currently includes:
• Washington Panthers
• Bloomington Cardinals
• Bloomington Knockers
• Twin City Tigers
• Chatham Titans
• Rochester Rockets
• Williamsville Bullets

We would like to thank the JFLOCI, its member organizations, volunteers, officials, and leadership for the years of competition and the relationships built along the way.

As we begin this exciting new chapter, our commitment remains the same: providing a positive youth football experience focused on player development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and community pride.

We look forward to sharing additional information regarding schedules, opponents, and league details in the coming weeks.

🏈🐗 Morton Hogs JFL Board Position Opening – Treasurer Needed 🐗🏈

The Morton Hogs JFL is looking for a dedicated community member to join our Board as our Treasurer.

Our current Treasurer will be stepping down, but will be working directly with the next person to provide a smooth transition, training, and a complete handoff of everything needed to be successful.

The Treasurer plays an important role in helping keep our program organized and moving forward for the hundreds of football players and cheerleaders we serve each year.

Responsibilities include:
✅ Managing program finances
✅ Tracking income & expenses
✅ Helping with budgeting and financial planning
✅ Providing updates to the Board
✅ Supporting registration, sponsorships, and program operations

You do not need to be a financial professional — just someone who is organized, dependable, and wants to help make a difference for our kids and community.

If you’ve ever wanted to get involved with the Morton Hogs and help continue building something special, this is a great opportunity.

📣 You might have noticed… 🚨

Let’s take a moment to recognize your JFL Board!

You might have noticed a lot of changes this year already… Our board made commitments & goals to improve and grow our Morton Hogs JFL program to be competitive from the ground up - feeding directly into the high school program.

Some goals we are THRILLED to have accomplished already! 💪🏻

1) Fundraising - we have already increased fundraising by nearly 300% this year!
• Thank you so much to our sponsors
• This helps with field & facilitly improvements (Adding speakers & PA System to field #2), equipment purchases and upgrades and paying coaches salaries (JK 🙃)

2) NEW Uniforms! This 2 year goal was able to be achieved year 1 - thanks to the fundraising efforts of our board and amazing community support of our sponsors. Look good, feel good, play good!! 👊🏼

3) Expanding our digital footprint. This is all about community involvement/communication and sponsor value proposition. We have grown our social following by nearly 15% already this year!

4) Off-season and “continued growth” programs. This is a big one & an important part of sustained excellence in our region. Refer to recent posts for more information on off-season training and conditioning.

5) Cheerleading! This new program is exploding in growth!

There is a lot more in the works!
