Checking in from the Food Pantry in Morton! ❤️

The We Care Food Pantry is here to help Morton residents who may need a little extra support with groceries.

📅 Open Tuesdays ONLY
⏰ 11 AM–2 PM
📍 Morton residents only
📞 Appointment required

Registration must be completed over the phone. Call 309-291-3421 to register or make an appointment.

The pantry also gratefully accepts donations! Right now they are in need of personal care products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, dish soap, and toothpaste). Every donation helps keep the shelves stocked and supports families in our community. ❤️

🎃👶 PRECIOUS PUMPKIN BABY CONTEST! 👶🎃

Do you have the cutest little pumpkin in Tazewell County? Enter them in the Precious Pumpkin Baby Contest, sponsored by We Care in conjunction with the Morton Pumpkin Festival!

📸 Children under 24 months are eligible (limit of 60 entries!).
🗓️ Register by August 31 at midnight or until all 60 spots are filled.
📷 A 5×7 vertical photo is required — horizontal photos will not be accepted.

🏆 PRIZES:
🥇 1st Place Boy & Girl — $75 each
🥈 2nd Place Boy & Girl — $50 each
🥉 3rd Place Boy & Girl — $25 each
🎀 All participants receive a ribbon!

🗳️ Voting will take place September 1–15 at Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Morton and online at wecareofmorton.com.

🎉 Winners will be announced September 16 and presented on stage at the festival on Thursday evening. First-place winners and their parents will also be featured in the parade!

All proceeds support We Care projects, including transportation, the food pantry, and Meals-on-Wheels. ❤️
