At Midwest Food Bank, we believe no one should have to choose between food and other basic needs. For over 20 years, we’ve been working to end hunger by providing nutritious food to individuals and families facing food insecurity. With the help of our community—volunteers, donors, and partners—we distribute millions of meals each year through local food pantries, schools, and community programs. T

Recently, Chapters Senior Living home in Washington was damaged by fire and many residents are now displaced. As they rebuild and re-adjust, Midwest Food Bank Morton was able to provide hygiene kits to residents as they recover through this disaster. ❤️💛🥰 Thank you to all the volunteers that packed these bags and HarvestCall for donating the items!

Today we got to celebrate a big milestone birthday for one of our volunteers. Morris turned 90!🥳

Morris is a retired farmer that comes every Friday morning for Fun Friday and any extra disaster relief sessions we need. We are blessed to have Morris helping at Morton and we all hope to be doing what he does when we are 90!
