We don’t say it nearly enough, the Pumpkin Classic would not happen without the dozens of volunteers who give their time and talents. Ivy Rehab is one of those generous folks making your event wonderful. They will have a spot in the post race party zone, offering free stretching for runners.

BRING YOUR OLD SHOES TO PACKET PICKUP!
Packet pickup will be 4-8PM at Morton Jr. High on 9/18 as well as race morning starting at 6AM.

Nicholas Delgado will be collecting donations of new and gently used tennis shoes. Please ensure that all donated shoes are tied together in pairs. Your generosity will go a long way in supporting those in need.

The collection bins will be at packet pickup on Friday and Saturday before the race. We hope to see you at our booth this year!

Going The Distance is continuing a commitment to community service by focusing volunteer efforts on assisting the Salvation Army in Peoria. These shelters always have a significant need for shoes and socks, and the upcoming Pumpkin Classic provides the perfect opportunity to make a difference.

There is NO PUMPKIN CLASSIC...without our amazing volunteers!;) Huge thanks to Holly & her Re/Max team as well as Leigh Ann & her Renewal by Andersen folks who make sure our 10K runners stay hydrated. Look for the Renewal and Re/Max Rehydration Stations at miles 2 & 4.2ish!
