We have an opportunity for you to represent St. Jude this Saturday in the Morton Pumpkin Festival Parade! See the flyer for more information. If you can make it, please RSVP with Darrin Johnston at 309-696-5972. Your main responsibility is a fun one - throwing out candy!

We are looking for people to represent St. Jude for the Pumpkin festival.

The 1963 Chevrolet “Pumpkin Truck” will be representing St. Jude in the Pumpkin Festival Parade, Saturday September 19th from 10AM - Noon! Let’s surround the truck with parade-walkers who are big fans of St. Jude and the Morton community!

Our parade-walkers can wear their St Jude T-Shirts from past Kids Muddy Madness events or St Jude Runs, or choose from a handful available that day. Alternatively, they can dress like their favorite superhero to match the festival theme this year “Bam! Pow! Pumpkins!”

Come find the truck at 10AM on Jefferson Street between Lincoln School and Grace Church. We will be #68 in the lineup. Park on side-streets or at Grace Church parking lot. Candy and water will be provided for our parade-walkers to distribute to thousands of kids lining the parade route. Parade-walkers may wish to bring a container or bag to carry candy. The parade will end at the Morton Post Office around noon, and the truck will provide rides back to the starting point of the parade.

Reminder to all runners!!

1)MANDATORY Friday night informational dinner meeting will take place on July 31st at the Morton Knight of Columbus Hall located at 621 W. David. This meeting will start at 5:30p and will last approx 1 hour. We will cover all information related to run day.

2). Arrive at ANJ Electric, 1710 N Main St. at 7am, presentation at 715am, start running at 7:30a

3). Run Day Essentials- A reflective running vest/strap is MANDATORY for all runners at ALL TIMES throughout the day. If you need any information on where to find these, please reach out.
-We will have water, propel, snack mixes available during the run. If you would like anything else besides this, please feel free to bring.
-We will have some sunscreen available, but please bring some extra
- Change of clothes and socks if you wish to change at lunch (Country Aire Pool)
