MHS Student Council was proud to represent Morton School Zones yesterday in a “Zone Update” to the SCSD School Board. Morton Elementary School was presented by Student Bidy Secretary, Addison Lloyd. BMJ Middle School was presented by Student Body Vice President, Isaac Goss. Morton High School: Home of the Panthers was presented by Student Body President, Samuel Bradshaw. We are proud of our student’s commitment to excellence!

MHS Student Council thanks East Central Community College for hosting our Second Annual Leadership Conference! Our students had an absolute blast, and we’re thankful for all we offer the fun had!

We also thank Senator Tyler McCaughn for speaking to our students about some important aspects of leadership in a modern age!

We had the best time representing MHS at the Mississippi State Association of Student Councils workshop hosted by Mississippi College yesterday. Great networking and awesome ideas for community outreach!

MHS StuCo members were able to host the SCSD monthly school board meeting. StuCo members Alex Bierman, Tara Leggett, and Angelina Grove created a presentation displaying our Morton Zone Schools.

Also included were two students from the MUES Student Council and BMJ’s Student Body President Amiyah Lloyd.
