1st contest in the books for MBHS Surf Team! We killed it and beat AG 35-28! Lola Weatherly placing 4th in shortboard, Adrina Asuncion placing 2nd in longboard, Reese Kelly placing 3rd in longboard and Ezra Bariel placing 4th in Bodyboard. Great job to everyone! 🏴‍☠️

Surf Team reminder!
Salty: The Movie
Sunday, Sept. 21 (doors at 3:30 p.m.; films start at 4, with the raffle to follow). Tickets are $10 at the door. This is a short film, followed by a showing of North Shore. The showing will include a raffle to benefit our team. We expect a large turnout (tell your friends!), so you should show up early (before 3:00).

We need 2 parents and 4 surfers to help out at the movie. The parents will be selling MBHS merch and the 4 surfers will be selling raffle tickets. Please reply and/or text 805-801-3186 to show your love!

Under a surprisingly clear and smoke-free sky, the Pirate Surf Team SMOKED Dos Pueblos High School 74-53!
Including a finalist in every category:
Girls Shortboard: Lola 3rd, and Reese 5th
Boys Longboard: Noa 4th
Girls Longboard: Adrina 2nd
Boys Shortboard: Ray 5th

Next week will be our final contest of the season at C- Street! Make sure to come and support and thanks to all who was at the last one!

Morro Bay Surf Team succeeds once again at our good ol’ home break.
Elias getting 1st for men’s shortboard along with many other finalists for men’s and women’s shortboard and longboard, with an overall win against Dos Pueblos!
