SLCUSD will be meeting to discuss what will be done with Morro Elementary as a "Surplus Property".

A site tour will be held at Morro Elementary from 12:30-1 PM, followed by a study session from 2:30-4:30 PM.

You can find the full site layout planned for Morro Elementary School as a completely built-out manufactured home park on Page 16. Morro Bay currently only has 1,000 manufactured/mobile homes. The addition of 150 trailers would be a 15% increase to the City, at the loss of an entire school site and community space. Please speak up if you have any interest or opposition to this development.
