Project Surf Camp Project Surf Camp is a 501(c)(3) charitable and educational, nonprofit organization designed specifically for individuals with special needs.

Project Surf Camp uses surfing, the beach, and other ocean activities as an educational modality to build self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-efficacy in individuals with special needs. We further provide opportunities to build social skills, improve physical fitness, develop healthy outlets for stress reduction, and foster independence.

A huge thank you to Amber Renee Photography | SLO Central Coast Photographer for joining us at Project Surf Camp yesterday and capturing all the magic of camp!

It may have been a foggy morning, but that didn't stop our campers from having an incredible time in the water, catching waves, building confidence, and making memories.

We'd also like to give a big thank you to the volunteers from PepsiCo for spending the day with us. We are so grateful for your partnership with Project Surf Camp and your energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to jump in and help make camp a success.

And, of course, thank you to all of our amazing campers and families for joining us. Your smiles, trust, and support are what make Project Surf Camp so special.

If you've been thinking about signing up, now is the time!

We still have a limited number of openings in our camps, especially in a few of our stand up paddle camps. Plus, on July 2nd we have openings in a surf camp. Come on out to for the 4th of July week and sign up for a camp!

Project Surf Camp gives individuals with special needs the opportunity to experience the ocean, build confidence, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories in a fun and supportive environment.
