"Farm Frustration" Summer Reading Escape Room
Friday, June 26, 6:00pm

Help! The USDA has shut down our Library's pretend farm because we can’t get our plans in order! They have locked up all of our seeds for planting until we can hand over our finished plans. Please help us figure out how big our gardens need to be and how much fencing we need to order. The USDA will be returning in 45 minutes for one last inspection!

Must register here: https://events.morrisvillepubliclibrary.org/event/16212015 or at the library! Must be 9 or older to participate.

The Library is closed for Juneteenth on Friday June 19. We will reopen Monday June 22 at 12:00pm.

✨ INTERNATIONAL FAIRY DAY — Wednesday, June 24! ✨ The pixies have spoken, and apparently this is their favorite holiday of the year!!!

Stop in anytime from 12–7 PM and make your very own fairy bell topper (a tiny charm to let the fairies know you appreciate their hard work keeping the world sparkly.)

While you’re here, celebrate in true fairy fashion:
• Dive into a magical book (Peter Pan, anyone)
• Daydream about fairy gardens
• Sprinkle imagination everywhere you go
• And of course, show Tulip your creations so she can admire them!

Bring the kids, bring your inner child, bring your belief in a little pixie dust. June 24 is for the fairies and for all of us who secretly wish we had wings. Open to all ages, young and old!🧚‍♀️✨

On display through the month of June, here at the library! Stop in and see this amazing exhibit!

Messages from Survivors: One Family's Holocaust Legacy

This powerful exhibit, is from The Memory Project, introduces the Holocaust through powerful personal perspectives. By sharing stories from a family of survivors, Messages from Survivors aims to help combat Antisemitic stereotypes while transmitting messages they wished to convey to future generations.

Visitors can also explore a special “shoebox” filled with six take-home cards featuring survivor photos and stories, a QR code linking to six short videos, and reflection questions that connect their experiences to our lives today.

It’s something everyone should see!
