Who We Are

Founded in 2000, Lamoille Area Cancer Network is a non-profit organization that recognized the need to assist people in our local Vermont communities that have been diagnosed with cancer. The physical and emotional stress of being diagnosed with and beginning the battle with cancer can be overwhelming. The financial burden of the fight grows as well, it is LACN’s goal to help lessen

the impact. Mission

The mission of Lamoille Area Cancer Network is to act as an emergency fund source to assist families and individuals in the Lamoille Area with small grants while they are going through their journey with cancer. Grants

LACN proudly awards over 700 grants exceeding $ 180,000 per year. In 2010 LACN reached it’s first milestone of issuing over $ 1,000,000 in financial support to Lamoille Area residents diagnosed with cancer. Our ever growing goals are simple…Help as may people as we can and with the amazing support of individuals and companies across the region we do just that. Helping Hands

The generous support of our Vermont community continues to make families lives facing cancer easier financially and we would like to thank everyone for their continued support. In addition, many thanks go out to the members & volunteers at Lamoille Area Cancer Network, as all services and time are 100% donated, allowing 100% of all donations to be used to help our neighbors taking on cancer.

❤️ A FULL-CIRCLE MOMENT OF COMMUNITY GIVING ❤️

We wanted to share something pretty special that came out of our car show.

At the show, we secretly held a 50/50 raffle for Joe at Bourne’s Automotive and his family. The entire thing was a surprise — Joe had absolutely no idea we were doing it for him.

When the winner of the 50/50 was drawn, he did something incredibly generous and donated his half right back, bringing the total raised for Joe to $540.

This morning, we went down to Bourne’s Automotive to surprise Joe and give him the $540. He truly couldn’t believe we had done this for him. He was extremely thankful and honestly at a loss for words.

But then Joe surprised us.

In memory of his wife, Linda Charette, who recently passed away from cancer, Joe decided to donate the entire $540 to the Lamoille Area Cancer Network to help other local families affected by cancer.

It really brought everything full circle. ❤️

Our community came together to help Joe during an incredibly difficult time, and Joe immediately chose to turn that kindness around and give it right back to others — all in Linda’s memory.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the raffle, to the winner who generously donated his half back, and to Joe for reminding us what community is truly about.

We’re proud to be part of a community that continues to show up for one another when it matters most.

In loving memory of Linda Charette. ❤️

Thank you Riley , we are honored to be chosen as one of the beneficiaries of your car show ~ Mark Lehouillier one of our Board Member’s receiving the donation.

❤️ $1,200 DONATED TO THE LAMOILLE COUNTY CANCER NETWORK ❤️

Today, the RT’s Detailing crew had the opportunity to meet up with Mark and officially donate $1,200 to the Lamoille County Cancer Network, raised through our car show.

This donation is especially close to my heart. I lost my mom to cancer three years ago, so being able to give back to an organization that helps local people and families going through that same fight means more to me than I can really put into words.

This is what our car show was truly about. Yes, we love the cars and bringing everyone together for a great day, but being able to take that support and turn it into something that can help people right here in our own community is what makes all the work worth it.

To everyone who entered a vehicle, donated, sponsored, volunteered, attended, or supported the show in any way — you helped make this possible.

From myself and the entire crew at RT’s Detailing, thank you. ❤️

In memory of my mom, and in support of every local family affected by cancer. 🎗️

This past Saturday, we attended the annual LACiNg Up for Cancer walk at People's Academy in Morrisville, the event we fundraise for all year through our bracelet sales. We were proud to turn in a check to Lamoille Area Cancer Network for $1,584!

Despite some wild weather that left our Mary's Misfits tent partially underwater, we made the best of the day. Because cancer doesn't stop when the weather isn't perfect, and neither will we when it comes to making sure people know they're supported by their community.

Thank you to everyone who purchased bracelets, donated to the network, and donated supplies for materials to make the bracelets!

We also want to thank The Funny Farm, SaCree & Co Beauty Boutique and Salon Salon for displaying and selling our bracelets. Please make sure to stop in and support these local businesses.

Together, we're making a difference for cancer patients and their families. 💕
